Women's Groups

St. John's has two women's groups. One, the United Church Women, are a long-standing group that meets reguarly to share in learning, and also help to raise money for different causes through fundraising events such as rummage sales and bake sales. They are a busy group, and their commitment is simply amazing. They can always use a hand!

Our newest women's group is called WINGS and is aimed at the younger women in our church. They meet every few weeks for a meal together, and conversation. Usually there is a sharing time, either using the stories of experiences from within the group (such as adoption, breast cancer, interior decorating, and wine tasting) to simply having an evening together talking. People are always welcome to join.
